SYNOPSIS: A high school student turns heads when he decides to avoid texting a girl in this comedy-turned-romance about the power of letter writing.

PRODUCTION NOTES: ONION SKIN is 16 year-old, Joseph Procopioʼs 11th short film. It introduces the performing talent of 5 new actors and crew personnel from 7 High Schools across Ontario, in his first long-form narrative film. Pre-production of ONION SKIN began with a full screenplay break-down, production strip-board, and an official Casting Workbook announced audition courtesy of Susan Forrest Casting. Film Office Location Permits and Front Row Insurance was then secured for a six day shoot on location at Villanova College in King City, and at Toronto Pearson International Airport.

Post production Editing and Sound Design was by Joseph Procopio on Final Cut Pro7.

SYNOPSIS: A 14 year old considers whether his own generation will suffer a natural resource emergency similar to that of the 1970′s Gas Crisis.

PRODUCTION NOTES: MyCrisis is micro-documentary for teens directed by a teen.
